Curriculum & Instruction

The Curriculum and Instruction Department’s primary function is to carry out the mission and vision of the Rincon Valley Union School District.

RVUSD Mission:  We are committed to providing all students an exemplary academic education and the foundation to become productive citizens of their community.

The Curriculum Department supports teachers and instructional staff members as they provide standards-based, high-quality instruction in all core academic areas.  We develop and provide teacher training, instructional materials, and assessments based on the California State Standards.

    In addition, we recognize that many other subjects are important to achieving our district mission.  Therefore, the Curriculum Department also supports the following programs:

    RVUSD Vision:  We pursue excellence in education by focusing on rigor, relevance, and relationships. We provide a solid foundation for every student through the development of critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity.
