FACILITIES

Facilities and Planning Department oversees the funding, construction, modernization, expansion, and facilities rentals, within Rincon Valley Union School District. The department is responsible for interaction with local, State and Federal agencies on all issues pertaining to planning, development, finance, environmental impact, population growth, and construction.

As you review our site and the information contained within, there are some points we would like you to remember:

  • Planning is dynamic - Our educational specifications, master planning information, and individual school project updates are available on this site. They are a snap shot in time. Change is inevitable -- planning for change and adjusting our plans as needed is our task.

  • Our goal in this department is to support the existing and future educational program direction that the District is implementing throughout the Rincon Valley Union School District by providing state of the art facilities. Our future plans and projects are developed with this in mind.

  • Enhancing the educational experience through the physical environment is our goal. All of our facilities should be safe, functional and aesthetically pleasing, where students want to learn, teachers want to teach and the community wants to gather.

Master's Facilities Plan

This is a 10-year Master Facility Plan which has been prepared by CFW. The plan includes site assessments, direction from the board on educational programming, multiple discussions at board meetings, various meetings with district administration and 8 community input meetings and 8 staff input meetings.

This document is a necessary item in the planning and funding future capital improvement projects in the district. This is a thorough plan that aims to improve facilities throughout the district in the future. This plan is subject to change throughout the next ten years as funding becomes available.
