MEET THE PRINCIPAL- Brooklynn Clark
Brooklynn Clark began her career in education as a teacher in the Rincon Valley Union School District in 2005 at Sequoia and RVCS-Sequoia. Following eleven years in the classroom, she pursued her administrative credential and became an assistant principal at the elementary and middle school level with the Santa Rosa City School District. Prior to becoming a teacher and administrator, Brooklynn earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Liberal Studies from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. After several years of teaching in the intermediate grades, Brooklynn realized that many older students still need intense instruction and help in the area of reading and comprehension. She decided to continue her professional learning and received her Masters Degree in Education with an emphasis in reading and language from Sonoma State University in 2012.
Brooklynn grew up in Oregon where most of her family still resides. Since moving to California in 2000, Brooklynn and her husband, Richard, have loved living on the Central Coast and now Sonoma County. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, exercise of all kinds, reading and traveling.
Brooklynn is very excited to be part of the RVUSD team as an administrator at Madrone Elementary!
