Dear RVUSD Community, There was a recent Sonoma Sheriff’s Department Facebook post regarding the arrest of a teacher’s aid at Village Charter School. This is not our campus, Village Elementary Charter on Yulupa ave., but is instead another school not affiliated with RVUSD, Village Charter School on Piner rd.
HI RVUSD Parents,
We had a great two days with Jamie Nunez of Common Sense media speaking to our 4th,5th,7th, and 8th graders about digital citizenship. Below are some of the pictures from these events. If you were not able to attend our parent event we have also included the recording below.

All phones are back up. A crossed connection at an AT&T network operations center caused the issue and was repaired.
Phone Issue Update: The phone company has an estimated time of repair of 10:30 am tomorrow(1/29/22). Thank you for your patience as we get this resolved.
Dear RVUSD Families,
We have confirmed with our phone provider that the issue is with their connection. They are aware of this issue's seriousness and are currently working on a solution. Outbound calls are working, and we can respond to emails over the phone.

Dear Rincon Valley Staff and Families,
We are definitely getting the rain that we needed. We are aware of the alerts that have gone out about areas of Santa Rosa that are experiencing flooding. We have had crews checking out our school sites and at this time are planning to have schools open tomorrow, Monday October 25th. We will continue to monitor the weather and conditions through the evening and will send out updates as needed.
Please stay safe and have a good evening.

Dear RVUSD Families,
The California state legislature has approved new guidelines for Independent Study. Independent Study is the basis of our Home Study program and is the offering we are able to provide as a district for families who wish to have their students remain in a distance learning setting.
We expect that the vast majority of students will return to our campuses, but need to also provide a continued learning option for those keeping their students at home. We have attached more information for your consideration here. https://bit.ly/3zrXbgv
